About Isha Mane
Nashville’s Isha Mane (Kenny Adams), also known as East Side Isha, Out East Isha, or simply Isha, has traveled a road shaped by family, fatherhood, street life, incarceration, and personal growth. Through every setback and transition, music remained with him. Those experiences give his lyrics something that cannot be manufactured: real stories, lived perspective, and the conviction of someone who survived the journey himself.
A founding half of I-40 alongside Tre 80, Isha brings a gritty Southern voice rooted in East Nashville. A storyteller and lyricist with sharp punchlines, natural charisma, and a heavy Southern twang, he turns his experiences into verses that speak to the people who recognize them.
His collaborations with C.M. James include “Let the Dead Walk,” the popular “Blick Hop (Extended Version)” alongside Honey B Sweet, and “Cash Smash Nash” alongside Larysa Jaye. Their distinct styles meet through shared storytelling and lyrical energy, giving Isha room to bring his own presence to every track.
With the upcoming song “Local Jocker” and his debut solo release on C.M. Jaye Music, “Due Process,” coming this fall, Isha Mane is stepping further into his own spotlight. The next chapter brings his voice, his perspective, and his East Nashville roots to the forefront.
